Veneers are thin finger nail type porcelain constructions which cover the front of a tooth , and which are used to improve a range of issues ranging from mild crooked teeth, to out of shape, undersized teeth, to discoloured teeth. The are more conservative on a tooth compared to a crown. Sometimes it is better to avoid expensive porcelain, especially for a young person, and white filling material can look well if used skilfully. The two pictures shown are of a young teenager with
